We serve California parties, mainly in the Greater Los Angeles Area
HOW WE WORK and WHAT TO EXPECT
When you first call, we ask for the basic facts regarding your situation. Then we describe in more detail the options that seem appropriate for you: It could be mediation, collaborative law or coaching.
Our goal is to seek out-of-court settlements. If your primary emphasis is to get back at your spouse, we will be happy to refer you to trial attorneys.
Some of the work, when it can be performed by others such as a law clerk will be billable at lower rates. Some services require a retainer fee, others are pay-as-you-go.
Appointments can be set 7 days a week, day or evening, for your convenience.
This includes anything from the Summons and Petition to the final judgment. Depending on your particular circumstances, you may never have to go to court.
Of course, you will be responsible for all court filing fees. And, if you are represented by your own attorney in mediation, your own attorney may do the filing.

We provide family law related services: These include divorce, legal separation, child support, spousal support, support enforcement, pre-marital agreements, paternity, visitation rights & custody, modifications and a host of other issues.
We also provide post-divorce services: These include preparing wills, trusts & estate plans, and re-organizing assets, real estate, legal and financial matters. Your will may be automatically changed after your divorce, so you must review this.

We will not discuss your case in great detail at the initial call-in so as not to prejudice your spouse in any way.
Both of you get to share equally in all that is said with the attorney mediator.
We will set up an appointment where both you and your spouse can meet together.
Usually the first appointment will last 2 1/2 hours.
The initial 30 minutes are free.
If after the initial 30 minutes, everyone is happy with this process, then the mediation will proceed.
Unless requested otherwise you will be billed individually, each one-half.
At the conclusion of the mediation process, a judge will sign your judgment without your having to go to court.
